I don't know if other rpg map makers think that 256x256 is too small, but I do. So, I changed the WorldEditData.txt and altered it so you can make 480x480 maps! I always ran out of room in my old rpg maps, but with double the room... You can also easily edit the WorldEditData.txt by just opening it up and going down towards the end until you find this... [World Edit Misc] DefaultMapSize=(x),(x) MinimumMapSize=32 MaximumMapSize=(x) Just change the (x) to the max. size you want your map...WARNING - Maps 500x500 or over will crash WorldEdit. I would include the .txt file in this message, but it won't let me :( |

Guest | a fun way to make your maps seem bigger but not have to make it bigger is by changing the scale of all the units. This will make the world seem a lot bigger. I have done it before. but SOME people (parents) dont know anything about computers and wiped out the hard drive. I had te reinstall warcraft 3 and i lost my map. It was like a big war map, sorta like a madness because of high number of units but there were quests. |
