As most people know, you cannot edit the map properties or loading screens on maps over 192x192 directly though the world editor. But it is still possable to edit those things. -1st map a backup of your map. -2nd shrink you map to 192x192. If you need to move all units, cameras, doodads, and regions that are in use by a trigger into the 192x192 area before shrinking to eliminate any trigger errors. -3rd edit the map properties now -4th save the map with a new name -5th close the map in WE -6th open the new map in a MPQ viewer (I use and recomend WinMPQ if it works on your system) -7th extract the war3map.w3i & war3map.wts -8th open up the original w3m file -9th put those 2 files in it and the new data will be in the map that is over the cell limit... I know this can be done in Zépir's editor. But I have had problems with it removing cliff doodads, reseting scaling factores, messing up triggers, or even tiles sometimes when resaving it. |

Still kinda pointless, why don't you just create a new map and save the map properties and such and then just add them to the map MPQ archive. Same method, just simpler. |

cant do that to a map that is allready in progess, the text strings will not match up properly and everything will get messed up. |

I'll just use Zep's less effort involved. But nice find anyways. |
