DotA, how did they edit the spells so well?

I use techmpq and excel to edit spells but I recently played version 2.3 and the heros have some skills I don't see possible with what I'm doing. Is there a special program or what?

they use a combination of triggers and edited spells, they are nicely done, but not that complex.

Whoops! Asked a dumb question at first so now I edit it to say Good job in DoTA

the dota spells are bacically just modified origningal spells--not too many trigger enhanced spells. I wish they would have had more trigger enhanced, but it looks like the guy who made it didnt know to much about that

I think it's clever how they did the more construction options bit :) although I'm not sure how they did it:bgrun:
