What program reads .fdf files?

I'm trying to find out how the "miss" text works from evasion and I was told to check an .fdf. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what program to use. Thanx in advance.

try notepad first, then a pdf veiwer, then try hex editor lol =P

Well, note pad works. Now I feel rather silly for not trying that in the first place. Hmm, I'll go hide in the corner for a while now.

hmm..... can you import these into your map? Also can you change the text of it also? Instead of saying miss in red, could it say something different in a different color? Like Missed in blue or something?

Also where are the fdf's located? I don't feel like looking right now.

Well the one that I jus checked, all I could do was change the text. So instead of "miss", it could say "shucks" or "yo mamma" or the like. Loacated in UI\FrameDef\...

those have to be in the mpq, cuz they are loaded when the game starts, i made a tutorial on menu editing, its in the tutorials section ,adn those arent adobe fdf's, u must open them wit notepad
