Mdx test editor can edit models? If he cans, teach me how use it. In another thread i'll be request for a model, if i cannot edit one. I have GMax, and i cannot convert these archives to mdx. |

MDX Text Editor can't edit models! Get 3D Studio Max and the importer/exporter. The importer/exporter also works for GMax, but GMax is not very good. Check the tools thread for the importer/exporter! Edit: Sorry, actually you can do some stuff with the MDX Text Editor. But not much and anyway this program isn't good at all (this is my opinion). If you just want to change the texture of a model and don't want to replace the original texture, I'd suggest to use War3FileConverter. With it you can convert MDX files to their text equivalent MDL and then they are quite easiliy editable. After editing you can use the same tool to covert it back to MDL. |
