Is there anyway to get heroes to be able to get to higher levels than lvl ten?

Asked many times with many different answers. Check out Dakan's HeroQuest map for an idea. I don't think you can D/L it here unless it's in his sig. It's over at maps.warcraftiii.net though.

Yes you can, but you cant impliment it into a map. You will need to put the file in the MPQ, but then u cant play multiplayer.

Anyway, the file is

MiscData.txt

the only real way to make over 10 is single player and edit the miscdata.txt i think 15 is the hard cap there, the other way is like trav said, copy the idea i did in my HeroQuest Episode 1, i did release the exp system for it, its in the trigger repository. Here is the link to the actual file

You can't add to miscdata.txt to the map and expect to the map, it won't do anything. If your using heaven's terraining method with cliffs, it can work in game since you don't need to add the file to the map. It will work as a custom MPQ through.

Silencers & NAMguy, it can be done in multiplayer, but it is very limited.
A few things you need to know.
1) Each player needs to have the same patch.mpq as you (must be downloaded seperately)
2) Using a modified patch.mpq overwrites the other one, unless you backup.
3) The cap is still 15 I believe, I've never tested this myself, I'm just trusting the word of others, however I've heard it be tested higher than that.
4) Skill points stop at 10, you won't get anymore.
