Maybe some ancient race (think ancient Elves) or humans, or something has found new lands to settle in/fleed from enemies/is trapped somewhere, all of the lands unexplored to them. Or some people just got bored an went there. Trees: Can't see anything about it. Water: Red, but actually an effect of the soon, meaning a "new dawn" thing. Near to a sea, yet on a shore: Quite apparent that this is a new, yet majestic land, to which the road was hard, and to which whoever went there arrived just in. Portal: Apparently they used a magical effect to get here, by the use of magic/portal. The portal is apparently shut down, temporarily/because of a threat from the other side/accidentaly. Overall: Some people went to new, unexplored lands through a portal, which they shut down afterwards. Apparently, this is the beginning of a new age in history of Felathas. |
