drag racing

i am thinking of making a drag racing map, but i dont know how hard it will be. so i might need some help with ideas and balances the most. so what do u think i whould include in my map? this is the stuff that i thought of already:

parts to imprve performance

tournament

money/part/car prizes

1/4 mile race strips

posably a betting on money system

and ideas from u guys

I wouldn't go for drag racing. Rather, try for horse races.

There are so many ridden units in this game. Arch-Mage, Knight, Wolf Rider, the ones with the drums, and about a dozen others. I'm all for a betting system. Maybe you could make it so you can send your horse to a trainer, sell horses, and buy new ones.

but i dont like horses. cars r better. i was thinking using all the seige models, like catapult, steam tank, ballista, and meatwagon. or if someone could tell me how to implant models off the internet i could use real cars.

The controls should use the keyboard. Betting would be good. Also, will the cars have weapons?

i dont ever think taht i have seen a dragrace were 2 guys r racing, and then one og the drivers pulls out a fun and starts to shoot the other racer. so to answer ur question: no there will not be any werpons on the cars. but i might make a car that is fully equiped with weapons just for u mikedogdude:ggani:

Horse betting hehe, sounds like a fun idea :D

acualy i was thinking more along the lines of true drag racing, ya know, quarter mile strips, illigal street drag racing. that kinda stuff. and for the parts more like:
racing weels
nitrus oxide
racing air cleaner system
racing suspension

that kinda stuff, not spells to slow ur opponent down. or obsticlas. its just a quarter mile strip that takes a couple of seconds to finish, no laps or enything. with a garage for ur parts, and car.
