Guest | ok i got the spell to show up in game, in editor, everything works fine but one thing.. THE SPELL.. I cant seem to be able to select it as a hero ability, in Excel its already set as Hero Ability = 1 When i click on my new spell it wastes the skill point, and does nothing. can someone please help? |

Guest | Have you edited the Spell Strings? What type of spell is it there is most likely a problem with your spell strings... |

Yes, mod the <Race>AbilityFunc.txt, because if its a NEUTRAL ability, some of them show up in the 'Hero-Skill-Research-Place' but after they are clicked, they dont show up in the skills. This applies to SOME item spells. I couldnt get 2 of my Item based spells to work. Hope that helped.. NOTE- Make sure you edit the ButtonOps AND ResearchButtonOps inside the <Race>AbilityFunc.txt!!
