recently i've been testing my map out on bnet and it looks like after i get past 400 kb size or so people in the game lag a lot... not sure what this issue is and i guess if any of you have a cable modem and would like to help me host my rpg i'd b grateful =_+ |

Um, not enough info. You gotta tell us pretty much everything, like what you have in your map, such as spells. |

a lil thread on my site about my map : http://atw.valkan.com/yabbse/index.p...ay;threadid=83 after testing the map out for a couple hours on bnet i know the lag thing happened after i put in the triggers for my final boss - but it doesnt really make any sense since its just a simple hide / unhide trigger and some unit spawning ones, and the lag starts as soon as a player enters the game with a processor thats at around 800 mhz to 1 ghz .. i then tested with an earlier version where just the terrain was built but the units not placed. with the same person that had lag in my latest version and he was fine.. so im not sure.. can a unit be so customized that it lags a map? the boss doesnt have any custom spells eeven, its just tinted red and is scaled:ggani: :ggani: the boss has mirror, sleep, nova, and animate dead. it only lags in multi play.., |
