new WE!

well after seeing all the cool new units and new JASS functions in the FT beta, ive decided to try and get a WE functioning for it, so far, Ive fixed al lthe missing string errors, added back all the units i could and have enabled most of the new unit editor fields, ill probably end up working with skizot and cookie on this, since they seem to be doingthe samething on irc right now, ill post some pics soon with new doodads and units u cant see

Hmm, blue fellhound, demonic pig, frogs-that-look-like-aphids, some priest, and a... furry four legged scorpian? Are the frogs critters?

you would need to edit yer unitmetadata so i wouldnt recommend doing it until we have ironed out the bugs

Im betting that scorpion is a frozen thrown creep (I mean the tileset). Also have you seen the sweet stormreaver necrolyte/warlock. That is pure ownage.

i know thats cuz its notthe actual unit, its just the model, i jus tschanged the string path of another model

Is there a way to create custom units with your editor?? im a beta user, but i cant figure out how to create games for the beta... i only can create classic maps and tranfer them to the beta =( (this mean NO units manipulations...)

Or if u cant help me, plz gimme the list of the units, it should be really helpfull =)

If you want to use the new units and stuff with the editor, install the beta, make a copy of War3patch.mpq (and then delete the original) and rename War3x.mpq to War3patch.mpq. That should work. If you don't want the new units anymore, just change the name back and copy the original War3patch.mpq into your Warcraft III directory again.

no! do not rename patches, this editor does it for you, only d othat if you cant get this editor to work
