The beta world editor has been updated to be in sync with patch 301. The loading program has had alot of bugs fixed, and the world editor itself has also had numerous little fixes. Test map still does not work, and it still will most likely break your warcraft if you run it and don't have The FT beta. Other than that ENJOY :) Get it here EDIT: We made a mistake that removed orignal war3 units from this patch. But it has been fixed so just re download it from that link, sorry. |

If you do what the readme says everything should work fine :D And make sure you dont have dual installed War3 cause it uses the newest directory, so when u installed regular War3 after the beta it gives errors :p. |

Ok make a map in the editor, as simple as possible to eliminate errors I suggest red starting location blue starting location 64x64 and some monsters and items that you wanan see now go to file and save as call the map beta.w3m save it you will get a ton of script errors quit the world editor go to the folder in which you saved the map and double click the map the editor will now reload without changing ANYTHING, click test map TFT will boot up with the map and you can play =) |

hey guys, just joined this board, mainly cuz i got a question about the TFT WE. i followed Dan's isntructions on how to get to play map, but mine wont work. :bangH: whenever i try to load the map by clicking on it from the file i saved it to, it tries to open it up in the reg wc3 editor, which then gets an error saying that the trigger parameter list contains invalid type (0). and doesnt load past that. and when i load up TFT editor, and try to test map, it goes into TFT and gets an error...any help? thnx in advance to all that can help :yup: |

Guest | Heh, it's been a long time since I've been here. Anyways, I seem to have problems with the editor. No matter what I do, when I open the editor, it's always a gray screen. I don't have dual install on either. It may just be my cd-drive sucks but I go in and play the game fine but I can't get the editor to work right.... I've probably spent 2 hours reading the readme.txt making sure I did everything absolutely right... Gahhhhhh |

that means that u dont have something in ur directory, try uninstalling, installing wc3, patching wc3, installing FT, and then patching FT, it should work then |
