How do you guys get 3ds max? It costs 3,499 dollars!

I have 3.0 because my dad teaches a highschool computer course and the nice people at kinetix decided to start a program of offering free software to teachers so that the teachers can better familiarize themselves with the software so they can better teach the students so the students will grow up and start careers that use 3DSM =/
I assume most people just have warez though.

Softwarez. It's illegally distributed software. In other words, you download it for free, but companies don't like that.
