ok this is what u do:

tools-->advanced-->reset hight field-->random-->then anything that u whant.

this will give u a soft random terrian. it looks alot better that just flat

Yeah, but if you want something to be "award winningly good" (lol) then you would want to put yoru effort into it. Like my MOD for instance :p

I usually make it random and then change it more manually, that seems to turn out the best effect for low effort.
