I'm having some problems with my skin, so I posted this at the skinning forum, but no-one replies there (except for ChoboMapper, but the things he said didnt help), so I hope some of you can help me: I know CotN IV has new skins and Insaniteus also said he was working on new skins, so please help me. Guest | Okay, im kinda confused of how you got your skin in your map. It may be from the fact that I don't do it that way. WHy don't you just use techmpq to implement the blp in the w3m. If that's what you did and i didn't get it then make sure that you don't save the map once you implemented the skin (this means that you cannot test your map using the test map option. You have to implement the skin, then open WCIII and test it from there) PS: ChoBo? Here? Odd... How can he post so much in the www.warcraftiii.net forum and still hang around here. |

Well I once tried to use this WinMPQ but never got anything good. Download TechMPQ from the downloads section, it's much easier! |

I think that's your problem. The Correct Path should be Units\NightElf\Shandris. And get TechMPQ, it's easier. 3 out of 3 people in this thread all agree lol. -Insaniteus- |

no no no, use techMPQ and open the map file as the MPQ file. That's it. |

You don't put files in the MPQ!!!!! You put them in the Map. If you don't replace the defaults, they won't work. Putting them into a Map uses the attachment over the defaults without deleting them. -Insaniteus- |
