nice! the little house between the big one is very funny! I have some more images from my map: Some houses [IMG]ftp://guidokessels:/images/Wc3/big%20house%20copy.jpg[/IMG] Different view [IMG]ftp://guidokessels:/images/Wc3/big%20house2%20copy.jpg[/IMG] Just playing around in WE :ggani: or look here: http://members.lycos.nl/guidokessels...c3/page_01.htm -- Nuladion -- |

I suggest you add some grass somewhere, it lacks color a bit. Otherwise good job! I like the 2 floors houses!:D |

Ok, Nuladion, as a personal preference I don't like cities which are billions of houses crammed into one another like mad. That said, what you have is pretty good. The road setup is realy nice. The 2 story house was good too. I really wish people would use more roads (everywhere) and less cramming in their cities. Lastly, Amadeus I honestly don't like yours much. One of the houses is sticking out into the road, there is a patch of grass in the road for no reason, and the road setup isn't nearly as good as Nulidion's. -Insaniteus- |

Thanks for ur comment, I appreciate it a lot! I want to make a city that is under siege by a HUGE army. It will be a long battle and till the end it wont be really clear who is gonna win! I already have an idea for the music: the soundtrack from The Rock! It's great! Really worth listening :D I have to see if I can get the things I want to do fit with the music... But I've never used custom music be4 so I have to experiment a bit :ggani: -- Nuladion -- |

Add hills and platues in the background. Its amazing how much more professional it looks also maybe some uneven terrain or hills in the city as well? i mean no natural land is that flat |

This is a city! In a city you dont have any steep hills and the terrain is normally just ... flat. But I will add some height however! There will be a big castle on top of a little hill and probably some more things that are higher/lower than the houses you just saw! The pictures you just saw are from a very small piece of the map I'm going to make! So I oculdnt show you more, but I will soon! Anyway, thanks for ur comment! The terrain outside the city will have lotsa hills and forests! -- Nuladion -- |

The Rock? Alcatraz and all that stuff? Man I watched this movie over 30 times! I got the soundtrack also, the movie really rules. Except I don't think it's really appropriate for "medieval/fantastic" stories... Good idea still! |

yeah, the movie owns big time!!!:D :D :D every time when I listen to the osundtrack I can see Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery running trough the tunnels. The soundtrack is sooo thrilling! I hope I can time everythin right so it fits the music! And about the soundtrack not being fantasy/medievil enough, well, let's see how it turns out. I always can choose an other song, cause I'm still doing the terrain / map layout 8)! -- Nuladion -- |
