Guest | I've tried downloading lots of different MPQ stuff like WinMPQ, TechMPQ, MPQ2k, etc., pretty much every single one on this site, and every single time I try to open it, a different error message pops up. Every single file from the zip files is in the WarCraft III directory... so im not quite sure what's wrong. Here are the errors I get: MPQ2k : "The procedure entry point MpqReadFile could not be located in the dynamic link library Impqapi.dll" WinMPQ : "This application has failed to start because VB40032.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." TechMPQ : "LMPQAPI Library initialization failed; unknown error." What is WRONG?! I download them all, I place the files in the WarCraft 3 directory, and then I open the application... Will someone please help me out? |

just search for 'em, i got those messeges first time too, but search for VB40032.DLL and then copy it to the folder where your winMPQ is, and i suppose this messege will come up more, but just search for the .DLL files and copy them to the folder and its done |

MPQ2k takes a significant amount of work to be able to use with war3, and it isn't worth it. Winmpq: install the runtimes Techmpq: install a newer version. lmpqapi is not required anymore. |

For WinMPQ make sure you downloaded the RunPack3 and VB Runtime pack 1 i think i would have to look for it to remember. |
