I've heard people have been able to give heroes more than 5 spells. By moving the basic command buttons and around and making room for 8 or something, I've found how to do that too but when I try to give the hero the spells I find the WE (the basic one) doesn't allow it. It seems to only give you a maximum of 5 spells. How are people breaking this barrier? I've heard of substituting some hero spells for regular unit spells but I'm trying to keep spells with levels. Does anyone have any information to allow for more than 5 spells? Cheers. |

you cannot have more than 5 hero spells, the other spells are normal abilities, in some cases people take a hero spell and make it a normal 1 level ability, those a unit can have as many as you can fit. |

are you sure there's no way to edit the amount of spells allowed in the mpq in any way? Like say in the .j files or .txt files? I would've thought with all the values that are kept in there that there would be something to change the amount of hero spells a hero can possess? |

hard-coded means its programed into the game and with out the game code we can not change it |
