Guest | Just a quick question about how to achieve the same effect that Blizzard has in the first tutorial mission. They have a Orc Banner standing in the middle of a circle of power. I have tried placing an Orc Banner (Doodad) on a circle of power (Unit) but they refuse to comply... :) Is there something simple here I am missing? |

Guest | How more specific can he get? He's asking how he can get a doodad to be placed(an orc banner in specifics) to be placeable on a circle of power. I can't figure it out either(and i use the WE)...any of you w3 in and outies have a clue? Maybe in an upcoming map editor or somethin'... |

Use Enhanced World Editor, you can find it at Downloads section, Here's what you do: Make a custom unit of any kind, that you wanted to be a banner, for example you wanted a peon based custom unit to look like a banner See below: Change Model used: units/orc/peon/peon To Model used: doodads/lordaeonsummer/props/bannerorc/bannerorc0 then set the collision of the custom unit to 0 and also, set the collision of "Circle of power" to 0 So what you have now is, two units that has a collision of 0 You can stick em up together |

Guest | just put an orc banner (item) in it, it will show a banner not a treasure chest |

Using the item or the tutorial doodad will work. However, although I haven't tested it, I don't think 3DGuys' will. Doodads use .obj format, so unless you convert .obj to .mdx at some point, I don't think that'll work. |
