This may sound stupid but Im looking to get into skinning and eventuily into modeling what tools do i need? To skin ect |

You need WC3 Image Extractor (to view, extract and convert the skins), a MPQ editor (to implement the skins), a graphic software like Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop or similiar (to edit the skins). For modeling you would need in addition to the ones above War3FileConverter (can convert Warcraft III models into easy editable text format and vice versa), and 3D Studio Max (modelling software) or something similiar. |
