some more questions...

1) can i edit war3x files? if i can how do i do it?

the war3x custom maps r w3x files and the classic ones r warcraft III senario files.

Change the suffix to .w3m. That should work.

ok ill try that. but how would i do it?

Find the map you want, go into folder options, add the suffix w3x in, and put it for 'Always show extention" now, rename the file to: <map name>.w3m
