How do you guys creat things like, for example, a hall made of arcways? They are placed very close to each other or even are at the same place at a time! For example like in CotN.
Is there a special prog or is mpq-files editing required?

2 ways, you can alter the pathing of the doodad so they can overlap, this however allows units to walk right though it,

or (the better way)

you use CTRL + the keypad arrows to move the doodads closer together

1. Where exactly is doodad pathing?

2. CTRL+arrows? How actually?! Ctrl+keypad arrows does skrolling. emote_confused I tried different combinations, can't do anything. :bgrun:

Target the doodad first and then use the ctrl+keypad

Place the doodad with the mouse first, then fine tune with Ctrl+keypad.

EDIT: also, why am I an elven sorceress? Gotta change that.

Now everything's fine. :gsmile: Actually I found it out after 10 minutes I posted the previous post. :gsmile:

And about the dooada pathing. I anyway need to know how that thing looks like and where it is cuz I'm gonna make a costum doodad (a very unusual one!) and I'll need to make a new pathing map for it.

extract the dooadads\doodads.slk

unit editor, make the pathing map _ (you need a advanced editor for this) also lower the collision size to 0
