I'm using the FT 301 editor, and the game is on version 303... will that cause it to crash? I imported my war3 map to get all the new units into it. It always crashes though... I changed the tile set to be SUnken Ruins or whichever one is said to work. I just want to play my map with the new units and stuff... please help me. Here's an attachment of the error: |

Guest | Ok. Looking at the errors is like reading a book for me.:D To the point your game Religious WarCraft BETA v0.3 has this at the end of the file name ".w3x.w3m"From the looks of it you made the name of it as Religious WarCraft BETA v0.3.w3x. You do not ahve to add the .w3x. Because when you save it it will add .w3m. so your game title will look like this Religious WarCraft BETA v0.3.w3x.w3m. That is 2 different file paths for 1 file that is why you are getting your error. Take out the .w3x. Our great firends ad W3c made the beta WE still save it as .w3m. It will still play the game on the beta as .w3m. Just forget about .w3x. I hope this helps. |

My first guess would be that importing unit settings from a Classic WC3 map is your problem. I haven't tried it, but UnitMetaData is so different between WC3 and TFT... What happens if you only import terrain, regions, and triggers? Oh yeah, I forgot to mention - does your map have an edited AbilityData.slk. In my experience, AbilityData.slk has been very touchy in the Beta. Edit it too much and you will crash the game. |
