I am proud to announce you we will soon be hosting a Cinematic contest. There will be two categories (Mapping and cinematic)Here's how cinematics will work: Settings -You will be given a map created by me (By popular demand )-The map will contain a very short introduction, you will have to complete the story. Rules General rules -No material Theft -Must be around 10 or 15 minutes long, else you will lose points. -Editing all possible things is encouraged -FT models are strictly forbidden -You are allowed to work in teams. Map rules -You will not be allowed to modify the Terrain. -You will be allowed to change/delete/remove the doodads. here are some shots that were taken during the creation of the map. A lot of details will be added to them, they were taken when the map was ~25% completed (Which is mostly terrain only) Since it is in my nature to include innovative stuff, well I decided this map wasn't going to be an exception. ![]() This shots should help you find some ideas for events... **You will be given further details when the map is finished. Some rules might be changed also. |

VERY COOL!!!!!!!! I will surely participate in this! Although I dont think I'll win, but that doesnt matter! Tell me, is it going to be 'big' contest (like you post it on the main page and veryone joins) or a minor one (you post it here and only the people who check this forum wil join)? Can everyone join or are some people excluded (Insaniteus or other mods?) And your pictures dont show up, again emote_sweat VERY COOL IDEA :D:D:D -- Nuladion -- |

Well if it makes you feel better, I most likely won't be entering. I've got too much other stuff to do. Daemonkiller obviously can't enter either, so this will basically be the road to stardom for a third Cinematic Master, possibly more. -Insaniteus- |

Yes you can use cameras, hehe how can you create a cinematic without 'em? |

No worries, Instan cant join the contest. He is already known for it. This is more of a talent search. So get out there and sing your hea... i mean, when the contest starts, your gonna be working fast, so practice rapid detailed doodad placement. And, as for the sound pitch, choose add sound in the sound editor, then right click and choose edit. It will let you edit the sound pitch. But, it also speeds it up or slows it down. |

I wouldn't mind participating. A couple questions though. - Will there be a file size limit? - Approximately when will this start? - How long will we have to make the map? - How much does it cost to win without entering a map? Or errr, forget that last one. But yeah, count me in. |

Well for the file size, you only have to make sure you cang et the file hosted. Please try not to exceed 20 megs? :) This should start within the next week We will see, I believe ~1 month is enough Not sure if I got this right, but there are definitely no inscription fees. |
