Since my other thread died, I'll post my new Uruk-Hai X-Bowman here. I did this one to look more realistic to the movie. He still has some problems with things that need to be modeled out (which I cant do:bgrun: ), and his face will probably have to be redone, but here he is.

Looks pretty good. The skin tone in the portrait looks correct, but on his body it looks too dark.

It would be nice if you could take a picture in world editor without the grids and lighting so we could see your skin as it is without lighting changing it. It looks good, though won't the attack animation look really weird? He'll be using his "bow" more like a club.

Hows this? I'm gonna try to fix him up a bit, lightening up some of his skin and armor and working on his face, but I can't now cause I got some work to do... BTW if anyone could model out the parts shown in the other SS I would uberly thank you :)
Oh, and believe it or not the shooting animation doesn't look that bad :), try it for yourself.

Well... I did try it out when I posted, and it really does look like a club (well, I first thought of that one game played with a wiffleball and a cup-racket-thing). If you get someone to model out the unwanted things, you should try to get that person to change the animation. No one shoots a crossbow by swinging it overhead (um, to my knowledge, but... seriously, there is no way anyone would do that). Not to mention he steps forward during his attack, thus throwing off any aiming.
