BLP Editing

I've tried BLPEdit and WAR3FileConverter but they don't work. War3FileConverter just runs my War3 and BLPEdit don't covert blps. PLZ, is there any else stuff for BLP Converting?

Look just above this threat at the Image Extractor. Version 2.0 works very well, for apparently everyone but me.

It is the best, however. The converter also doesn't make .tga's into .blp's, just for your information.

I know but I need a tool to convert tga or jpeg into blp. I think there is no way to replace skins/icons with just tga format skin, so I need the converter which can do this. Is there any?

You don't need jpeg for anything. The images in-game are TGA with alpha channels. The image extractor will work for everything you need to edit skins/graphics/etc.

Except shadows...

Let me rephrase. The converter, that doesn't work for you, only makes them into tgas, not back into blps. The extrator, present in a stickied post above this, coverts both ways. Everyone seems to be able to use this program without problem, with the exception of me. Just place the .exe file in your Warcraft III base directory.

So you say I can use normal tga just like the blps? Let's say I can use tga file imported into w3m for item icon without being converted into blp?! Hmm, I should check this, but I think this trick wount work. :-/ As you say Extractor doesn't convert tgas back to blps, so I need a progy that can do this operation, except BLPEdit & WC3FileCoverter, they don't work.

The image extractor does, it's an entirely different program than yobgul's war3fileconverter. You open a tga then click save and change the file type to "blp", that simple.

All ok, found link to it in a thread above, I suggest that this tool should be in downloads in site tree... :) Better if admins will add it. Stuff works ok... Thanks, I just thought you were meaning BLP exporter which also doesn't work on my comp.
