you cant "pick your skin"

you have to replace an old skin. For example, if you made a grunt skin, put it in the mpq as the same name as the old one. your skin should replace the old grunt skin. :D

one way to "pick your skin is if it is a peon, kodo beast w/ rider, youknow all the ones with chaos variation, or if it is the villager lady, man or kid, or any of the ancient's that have those variations:D Just the ones that have variations because there are those models just with different skins so if it was a grunt skin and you wanted the grunt o stay the same but your custom unit to have the new skin then put the skin on the chaos grunt and make your new custom unit's model the chaos grunt. Hope this helps:infth:

phatim, you're very wrong too.

i suggest you read some tutorials before asking questions, they could help you out a lot. and the gallery isn't the place to post questions

Hmmm, that's not exactly true, you can also edit the model that it uses a different skin - you only need a hex editor. But then you have to place both (model and skin) in your w3m-file or patch.mpq.

Keep up modding! :D
