all irght im doing this tutorial http://www.wc3campaigns.com/modules....al+-+by+Cookie and i cant get past the first step because when i open try to do Extracting your files you wish to edit. Simply unpack MPQ View, open it and you will see the window interface of this program. Go to [file] -> [open data file..] -> select W3MlistFile.txt. You have now mounted the Listfile of Warcraft 3 (you have to mount it otherwise the mpq will not show anything). Then [Open Archive] and select the war3.mpq. Set [Filter] on: .mdx. Select the mdx you wish to use. For reference, we will use the the witchdoctors model. Select the witchdoctor model and portrait file and hit save them to their real folder names in the Warcraft 3 Main Folder, which will allow us easier skinning. I open Wcmlistfile.txt nothing happens theres no list and theres no MDX filter option. anyone help a newb out? |
