The spell Acid Rain and Mana Shield links are broken in the download section. Because there JASS spells i put this question here. Is there any other way I can get these Downloads? or Can The Admins of the Download section plz read the comments on the Acid Rain spell... |

What he means is :http://www.campaign_creations.com/wa...s/acidrain.zip just remove the underscore, also it stinks that this site sensors campaign creations, we should be expadning the community, not constriciting it. Imo they just jealous that wanderers of sorceria is better than anything they have ever made |

Maybe they are jealous of our Dominion War for Starcraft :). Look, I've always been for as many links between pages as possible. That way you'll always be able to find what you are looking for either on that page or on one of the links. And if you'll find what you're looking for, you'll return. Simple economy. Plus, competition makes people perfect their work... |

we hav had problems with people mass posting links to other sites, we decided this is how it should be, this site is dedicated to making itself grow, not some behind the times oldie site who cant mod... |

Well, here's the catch: how will others know that the site is backward, if you don't have link to it? Also, I DID find some files there that other sites (including yours) lack. CC (when it was still .com site) was created to do mods for Starcraft. It was not really ment for Warcraft until well after that. And that's why you probably think of it as backward. But I, as part of Dominion War project there, can tell you that it's far from backward, especially if you look at her sister sites, like Zenosoft (wich will most probably host my campaign too.) and some of the mods (I can personally asure you that technology and looks are not all, it's the story that counts and if person can explain a story right, it's way funnier than just finding a few new skins and spells. Well that still didn't stop me from making war3patch for my campaign over 100 Mb large, mostly because of new units, spells,... and I haven't really added much of what is planed yet, but that's not the point :)). I'm not saying this site is bad, far from it (if it were bad, I wouldn't really be here), but you must understand that it is still only a small part of the big picture. The same goes for CC and all the other pages out there lacking links. You answer implies, that it's economy, you are concerned about and CC was a threat to this site. Thus, your answer implies, that CC is not as backward as you might want to show it. Even more, you think, it has something that your this lacks (obviously, if so many links were posted). Do you really think that's a problem with CC? I'd look closer... |
