Resignation Of Mapping

Well, i have been mapping for warcraft three for just under a year, and I have seen most of the things that are possible with this engine... i have to say i dont like warcraft3 as a game that mutch, every loss was horrible and every win was the same thing over and over... I used to map for Counter Strike and make little LAN maps to play with my freinds on... I would like people with counter strike to learn how to do it, it pays off 10x more... so during the cinimatic contest I reilized how fun an urban 3D city would be and i began laying out the map... i am deep into this and i am know now as Eru at Counter-map forums and i will begin to post there agian...

So Farwell, i will still map a little but i will manly be mapping for CS and UT2K3 once i get it...
You all have been really nice here and thank you for your help... I might join the modling team later, as World-Craft is almost like modling a huge level...

It do have Warcraft team fortress, but I odn't have a CS or UT2K3 mod...

Too bad I can't play UT2K3 online (illegal version :bgrun:) but I can play CS with you some time! I'm not that good at it though :D

Also, are some of you playing Rune (Viking hack&slash)? It owns! Noone can withstand my Dwarven Work Sword! Mhuhahahahaha!

Yeah, I know a very good HL/CS modding site (german) and it has got very good mappers there. Very good projects can you see in this forum thread ---> .
The main page is there ---> :D .

So check this thread out, there are very good projects in there.

HL/CS modding/mapping is very hard work because it works with x/y/z layers.:(
Warcraft3 mapping/modding is not so hard in comparison.:D

Rune owns! I played it twice. The Dwarven Work sword is my fav weapon too. Along with the Broadsword, War Hammer, and Goblin Axe.

Well have fun mapping for CS and UT2k3 Eru.

I used to map for CS, but never finished a single map even though I pretty much knew how to build everything, cept those damn doors!

I've heard about rune, it sounds really cool...want it soo damn bad!
