I know this question has been posted alot, but Ive tried spell editing almost 16 times now and everytime its the same, absolutly no spells apear in the editor. For some reason this always happens to me. This time i tried to make a spell "Ice bolt" from a firebolt spell. Any sugestions?emote_sweat |

Most likely you made a typo in one of the files, either the slk or txt's. Just double check it. If everything is fine, the alk may be corrupt. Are you using a spell editor or excel? |

I used a spell editor. I checked it over and I dont see a typo. I think i know what i did wrong now...i got my slk file from the WC3.mpq instead of the patch mpq. Would that matter? |

Well I'd love to help but I don't use spell editors to avoid such problems cropping up, because at least then I know if something's not working right it's me that has stuffed it up :). I guess you could message the creator or try a different spell editor. There's several floating around so I'm sure you can find at least one that works properly. ~kharma |

Here's a link to another spell editor I found while browsing the Bnet forums, good reviews so far. |
