My wether effect does not work!

I have this map I was working on and its finnished except for the voice acting (Which Im not conserend about, and the finnal trigger, in the trigger a hero dies and transmits a final message, to add to the mood I wanted it to rain, I tried creating a globle rain effect but it did not work then I tryed a reagonal rain effect but it dident work ether then I made the trigger move a regon that was already raining and moved it to the center of the region but it was as good as the last two trys I've attaced the map :( , feel free to add general comments about it too ;)

By the way the trigger that the Cinimatic was in is the Folder Quests and the trigger is called Panted Wonder2

weather effects do not appear for clients that have medium or low detail settings in warcraft3. Check to make sure this isnt the case. Should be under video options from the main menu Detail level or something

I put my graphics settings to the limit and still no rain!

Here is a simpler way to make them other than making triggers for them:
1. make a location
2. double click it to where you get to name it under regoin editor
3. 2nd Editable option towards the bottom says something about weather.
4. Check it
5. pick weather effect you want

I think he's talking about the weather effects not showing up ingame, not in WE.

i realy dont get what ur asking. more detail plz. do u what it to rain were the hero died??? cause if u do just make some regions in a place in the map, make it rain there, then when the hero dies, move the region to postion of dieing unit. this is what i think u what. if it isnt ill try again, when u have more DETAIL to ur question.

Did you turn the weather effect ON? You can't just create a weather effect and expect it to work, you still have to run the action: Environment-Enable/DisableWeatherEffect(...).

Yes I am, and I do beleve that I did try enableing the wether effect but I could be (and probibly am) wrong, I will try these ideas, and by the way what do you think of the map, is it worth playing?

is it an RPG or a cinamatic?

Its the first mission to a campain I am making, yes it probibly does have to many cinimatics in it but I plan to remove some of the little short ones once I get some of my freinds to voice act the parts, it is a little crammped thoughemote_confused
