Well i dont really have the full storyline planned out but heres the story. The priest of the town of (insert name here) was always good to the people. He rarely sinned, and followed the rules of his religion. All the people of the town loved him. Their need for him increased greatly, when a stranger came to sleep in the town inn one night. When they looked in the morning he was nowhere to be found. They thought that he had just left in the night, until others started dissapearing. They began to acuse the stranger of being a vampire. Many falsely claimed they had seen his fangs and he had threatened to bite them if they told anyone. None of the rumors were proven true until one night that would change the priest's life forever. In the dead of night the priest heard a clang on the temple door. He got up and went to the front but before opening he asked who it was. In a hissing voice they answered that they had come to ask for forgiveness from the priest. The priest thought it was a bit odd, but it was his duty to grant the person this. As soon as the priest opened the door, the stranger lunged at him, revealing two long, sharp fangs dripping with blood. The priest attempted to cast a spell to defend himself, but it was too late. He felt the warm fangs plunge into his throat robbing him of his divinity. The dark venom had not overcome him yet so he casted a spell upon the demon, banishing from the temple. The priest, in an attempt to thwart the dark magic, prayed all night for purification. He locked the temple doors for the day, although there were many compliants from the people. The priest went into the temple library. When he entered he saw, laying on the ground, an open book. This was very odd, since he cleaned the room the previous day, and no one had entered it since. So he looked at the page it had been opened to, and his prayers had been answered. It had been opened to page that showed a way to cure the vampric condition... Well my plan for this campaign is to show his journey to rid himself of this corruption. Since he is both divine and evil this should open a lot of doors. I plan on having many side quests, and each will award you with a point of purity, or corruption, and when you reach a certain amount of points, you will gaina different hero, which is more or less corrupted. Then the last mission will be different depending on if youre good or evil. Heres who i have so far Spell Editor: Me Skinner(s): Me, Mmot (more welcome) Cinematics Guy: Mmot (more welcome) Terrainer: DoubleHex (more welcome) Triggerer: X-Man (more welcome) Post if you like this idea and/or want to work on it |

Guest | Not to put a downer on your story, but isn't this a tad common and used a lot in almost every poisoned trying to find cure story? I just think that perhaps you should add in some more plot twists to make the story more original and interesting. Of course, this is just your general idea, so perhaps I'm being too critical, martin |

hmmm too true. but this cure wont be with herbs and stuff. Still not sure what it is tho, maybe if he can prevent it from taking over his will he will become immune to it, and so he travels from his town to prevent any more exposure to vampires, but the vampires have been spreading everywhere. |

Guest | Just a suggestion, Frostbite. In the story, he could have been an amnesic kid who had received housing in that village in which he decides to become a priest. So he doesn't know where he came from. and then, when the vampire's bite him, he starts hearing voices and having fading memories of his past? So he leaves the village and starts maybe discovering he has vampiric descendance, which leads him to have the choice between continuing as a priest and attempt to rid himself from his past or to embrace his origins and become a vampire. Would that be good to maybe not use the herb/cure thing? |

Guest | I think that the concept of good/evil is excellant. The story isn't too bad, but could be refined. I'll help as it seems like a good project. I'm an advancd triggerer. Also, I think 1 map levels are better. no-one likes 50meg downloads. X-Man |

Guest | I'd just like to point out that, if he were a vampire, he wouldn't be able to enter a holy place. |

Guest | Actually depends on the sort of vampire, there's thousands of kinds. There's the Blade vampires, the Dracula vampires, the Buffy the Vampire slayer vampires, and so forth. Basically, vampires are any kind of bloodsucking monster you want it to be. Martin |

DarkPrimus: Hes granted holiness, because of his role as a priest, so therefore he can be in a holy place, hes only in there for one day as a vamp anyway. Okay so far I know theres gonna be at least two heroes you use. Harrieth (the priest/vamp): I would list his skills, but because of the different conditions he has, hell have a ton of spells. Sai Quall (The bodyguard): Sai Quall is a long-time friend of Harrieth. When he sees Harrieth leaving he talks to him, and decides to go with the priest, to protect him from the outisde dangers. He is trained in the arts of a bodyguard, or protecting one certain person, regardless of the fighter's safety. Restoration: Heals a target hero. Loyalty Aura: Increases all friendly units' armor, decluding the bodyguard Lightning Shield (name will probably change): Creates a shield of lightning around the target, damaging all enemy units near it. True Loyalty: Brings down cleansing rays, which damage the all enemy units, and the body guard, 200 damage. |
