It is a 4 player map (2v2 or FFA) that is perfectly symetcical. It is 224x160 with the players in the corners and 6 expansions. (1 near each players base and 2 in the center). And if you didn't read my first post... I am sending it in for the map contest, hosted by Blizzard. |

The symetricallities (sp?) must have taken too much time, that's why I can't do melee maps anymore. I need the freedom of randomness like in an RPG. But very well done. |

meele maps dont have to be symetrical. just, gereraly the same form. hey fyredaug, is it posible that i could tell some jokes at the end of my posts? cause i got some really funny one, and some kinda long ones that wont fit in my sig cause of the regulations now. wana hear one right now? ok here it goes: what did the right ear say to the other one? "hey, i didnt know that we lived on the same block!" lol, just a sample. [edit] how did u get that screen shot? did u make a camra? |

Looks awesome :D some detail screenies would be nice too. Will you post the map for to download after the deadline of the map contest? So we could get it even if it might not win ;) @Skyline: He probably just zoomed out in the map editor (if you don't know how to do this: Zoom out just as usual with your mouse wheel, if you cannot see anything any more hold your ctrl key and zoom out with your mouse wheel again -> much higher sight range 0_o ) |

Yes, ManniVersion3, once the contest is over, either if I win or lose I will post a copy of the map. Anyway, here are some more detailed screen shots of my map: Start Location Center Dragon Roost |

dont u think that the start locations r a little small? and when does it rain in the barrens? |
| 04-08-2003, 08:24 PM | #14 |
I know it rarly rains in the barrens, but to be honest doesn't it actually make it look a little better? And it also gives it the effect that the "land floded". For the start locations Blizzard said that each player must have at least 10 (of the large grid) squares, and they have 12 here. Yes, I have played it will all 4 races and like blizzard even warned, that humans take up more space, only the humans seemed a little cramped, but if you didn't notice, by the time they get the higher level structures they will have copped down the trees or at least expanded to the nearby goldmine, where there is more than enough room to build. |

its 12 squares??? doesnt look like it, but i guess so. yea the rain does look like the place is kinda flooded |
