I am making a Real life game more "close" than the others. To do this I am adding things like "stamina" (i explained this in another thread) "food" (die when you run out, eat to get more) and happiness (i am worknig on it... not sure tho). I am also using custom skins. Here is one i did using my ultimate knowlege of alpha channels. See the blade of the watcher doohicky has disappeared? Please refrain from seeing the hole in her head... I didn't do it on perpose. Of course the other class (male) is going to be based on DOTC. removing all slaws of course. O BTW the watcher has a new suit that seems more fitting than armor. exept armour which i am getting to. Finally the one thing i would like to say is that this would be far easier if sombody would help me by modling!!! |

Wilbo, actually I am also using a sort of idea like that. Except controlled in leaderboards. You have a certain amount of food you need to make it through, when you run out of food you become weak and move slower and do less damage. I don't think you should be able to die from this, since this is for a hero mod map, you need to "save" every so often incase you do die. |

Ah... that real life thing is boring in my opinion. If you really wanna do a cool thing make something new and original. |

Guest | an idea for it... if you can, can u make it so if u have an item, it will change the skin? if so you could make armor, that wuold change the looks of the skin, just a thought... |

I've thought about doing something like that, but add the armor and stuff via special effects, but I don't have anyone to draw them and I don't have the time to do it myself. |

Once you enter the resting area it gets dispelled. As for happiness I have no idea what that is for. An idea could be you can have a spell like blood lust. Create a trigger that if a player types anything that contains profanity (you will have to make alot of trigers, one for each word you dont want them to use) your charecter gains 50 mana so he can cast the blood lust. These are just some ideas. |

Stamina: the stamina idea was explained in another thread but i suppose i can explain it again if you really want: the idea is a basic set of triggers: sleep, wake, increase stamina and decrease stamina. decreasing is a basic thing that happens every minute. your max speed is 300 and max stamina is 15 so you lose 1 stamina and 20 speed for every minute. sleep happens when your stamina reaches 0 (or you type -sleep to auto sleep) you will appear to die (only death animation) and Zs will come out. then the decrease stamina will go off and increase will go on. of course the unit is paused while asleep. finally wake happens when you reach full stamina or type in –wake. (here attached is my official test that i havn't looked at for ages. I am not sure how crude it is but you may be able to understand this better). |

Another thing i plan to change is the cars that drive without you in em'!!! in the following way i plan to change this: a building with carrying capacity looks like a car and can't move (duh) when u get in tho, it chnages into a oving version of the car. You can then drive about untill you exit the car, wich will make it revert to what it was before. |

i thank the one person who dled my lvl. where is everyone? O well, the previous car idea i replaced with another one whihc is triggorizd but looks awsome!!! Its still having a few problems tho so i won't post it yet. I have decided (incase in the car test lvl you get confused) to make "action" "!" so if you see a "!" over your char you press esc to do action. |

2 days n' no posts on my thread = soon it is going to be closed if i don't put somthing on it. Also what i put on was not completly usless either. Either way do you know any modlers that might help me? doing it just with alpha channels is a pain and somtimes it jst comes out terribly. |

I am glad some ppl r dling the test. plz read back on the thread to understand what to do and how. I am trying to correct the hole in head problem. I have found out its source. So i will soon have it corrected. I have been writing down all the difficult triggers and I am not sure whether it will effect the map play having so many. Either way I am giving it a try. The car triggers have once again been changed but this time should work. |
