Help using TFT Editor

I know this will sound really stupid, but I can put tft units in maps but it wont let me save them with the beta extension. Did I screw something up when i set it up or do I need something else? (I used the TFT WE thing in the news)

Save it as W3M and rename it manually to W3X.
