Read it and weep. ;) - BETA PATCH 307 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- BALANCE CHANGES: - Runes no longer are on random drop tables. However, they still drop on Turtle Rock at certain pre-determined locations. - Ballista hitpoints reduced to 300 from 380, build time increased to 48 from 36, and damage reduced to 1d12 + 38 from 1d14 + 55. Additionally, Ballistas can no longer damage trees. We will re-add the capability to attack trees in some capacity in a future patch. - Breath of Fire now deals 50/100/150 damage by level, down from 70/140/210 damage by level. Its mana cost has also been reduced to 75, but its DoT from comboing it with Drunken Haze has not changed. - Impale effect area increased to 300 from 200. It now has the same area of effect as Shockwave. - Blood Mage speed increased to 300 from 270. - Summon Bear now costs 125 mana down from 135 mana. - Beastmaster speed increased to 320 from 270. |

That was a little quick. Edit: Grrr, Ballista sucks now. Don't attempt to use it, its not worth it. Well... takes some time getting used to it. |

Night Elves nerfed again...were they so powerful before? |

Guest | yes, they needed be nerfed because they were tier one units that would be way to powerful initially. I think that this was a good change, Martin |

Don't complain about NE being nerfed unless you've actually played with them on TFT. They can get pretty easy wins, but now I think they're balanced for the most part. EDIT: also, ballistas were a pretty quick-building, kind of durable siege unit until now. |

However it is somewhat stupid that the night elves ability to knock trees down has been taken away. That's a distinct and unfair disadvantage, especially when somethings, such as gold mines, are out of reach. |

Guest | Yea, how will they knock down trees now? No wait, their building still can: 1) Eat Trees. 2) Knock them down with rocks (Ancient Protector). And the Night Elves were too imbalanced and all-powerfull, and with their new strenghts they've got now, something had to be done! PS: Night Elves are overenviromentalist tree huggers! I doubt they ever wanted to knock down trees. Oh, and KTGs can also get rid of trees... |

"We will re-add the capability to attack trees in some capacity in a future patch." they never said it was gone for good people, just till next patch... NE is very good in TFT anyways... just the other day they released 306 and now 307 a day later, doubt it wil be much longer for anyone waiting for the balistas tree killing attack... dont have a cow ;) |
