OMG... Max custom unit limit

Damn it... I just found out that WorldEdit only lets you have a maximum of 100 custom units. It doesn't give you any error either. It just refuses to create any more custom units when you try.

Worse part is, I've still got a bunch of custom items I need to create. :(

if you REALLLY need those custom units try editing some standard unit you're not going to use...

custom units are basically just more heros or special buildings that only sell what you want them to do....i use reg units for the rest of the stuff. how can you need more? are you using them for every unit?

That sucks. More hard-coded crap. :(

Heh, I'm working on a Diablo II based map. You know how they have several "greater" variations of each unit type? (ie Zombie -> Ghoul -> Plague Bearer). So that's why I have so many units. And then I have summoned units, as well as units for things like town portals. Plus NPCs in towns, and storyline characters... And items too...

Yeah, I guess I'm gonna have to edit some of the regular units. I was trying to avoid that to keep things more organized.

Have you tried using the "Upgrades Available" fields to change to a higher unit? You could then use triggers to give certain units the upgrades.

Why is it bad? For the same reason the 255 location max was bad in SC...its a limitation that hinders so much.

Like mentioned above, I really suggest upgrading what's already available.
