I want to make the ambient sound noticable. By ambient I mean the birds chirping, and those other little sounds. I could barely hear them when the sound is normal, only sound good when the volume is really high or camera changed. I tried setting ambient sound to 100% and still sounds the same. Is there a way to make these sounds higher in volume? |

You could export the wav-file, increase the volume with some sound editing tool (the windows sound recorder should work for this) and import the louder file in your map once again. BTW: Have you found some ambient sounds for birds etc. that are not as annoying as the seagull sound? I used that once but switched it off after a test - 5 minutes of seagulls where just too much ://// |

i don't know jack...cheddar...about this but wouldn't that increase the file size and is there a way to do it without increasing file size? |

I'm not talking about seperate sounds, just those sounds you hear normally. For example in a Ashenvale map, you turn off the music, and put the volume up, and you'll hear forest sounds. Those sounds are the ones I'm talking about. I don't even know where they are in the sound editor, can't seem to find them. |
