EVIL - Annoyed with team color!

Alright, I've got a problem.

I'm trying to skin for the first time right now, and I've come across a problem. Drawing skins are no problem, making them look awesome is no problem, but the problem is Team Color. It's not that I don't know HOW to put it, it's just that I don't know HOW to get rid of it.

I can get rid of the actually team color through clearing the alpha channel. On the Druid of Claw model, when I change the skin, I'm left with a large bright block on a certain section of the model. Mainly where the grey - armor like shoulder placements were. Nothing i've done can get rid of these bright blocks. I would really love some help in this field.

Come on, someone please reply. This is driving me insane. If I clear the model by turning the 4th Channel completely black, I still get 3 bright red blocks that remain. HOW can I get rid of these evil blocks!?!

Very very simple: draw over your alpha channels.

Now, I'm working with Photoshop 6.0 - I've been really annoyed at these so called "Skinning Tutorials" - They avoid the most important area I'd like to discuss, and that's Alpha Channels.

Now, Channel wise - Alpha 1 is the channel I mess with. I draw over it all the time. Still, no matter what I do, those same 3 blocks always exsist. Is there some other way to draw over Alpha Channels? I'm pretty much in the dark here. This is has always been my one set back preventing me from skinning a lot more than I should, no one EVER wants to talk about Alpha Channels.

If you are trying to make it black, u need to paint over the selections in the alpha channel in white.

Best thing to do is click help in photoshop and search under masks or alpha channel, there is a whole section on color spotting and alpha masking.

Im not an expert on alpha, so I wont go into major details, but you should have everything you need to figure it out in Photoshop unless your running a cracked version with no help files.

Look damn it - I've just read everything on Alpha Channels, obviously, the problem doesn't lie there. It's something else giving me this stupid problem.

Look, this is very frustrating. I've been at this for the past 6 hours with failure at every turn. You'd feel pretty crappy right now too. This is not helping anyone right now. If you know, just please do us all a favor and end the frustration.
