Guest | Hi, I kept following Warcraft III Custom Skin/Model Tutorial by Cookie step by step. My Custom Model of the witch doctor was perfectly displayed in the world editor. But after I implanted it in w3m with MPQ2K.exe and started my map in warcraft, there was only the shadow of my witch doctor and the model itself wasn´t diplayed. But I am pretty sure that I implanted my model correctly. I hope somebody can help me. |

Guest | the last part of the tutorial was not shown right. you missed the \ between units\orcs etc so correct thing should ahve been: mpq2k.exe a Mymap.w3m witchdoctor.blp units\witchdoctor\witchdoctor.blp Html doesnt show \ for some weird reason |

Guest | It worked!:) :) :) THX But now I have another problem. I had to move my warcraft folder in order to use the WE EB! v1.2. But now my Wc3 Image Extractor II gives me this error message: System Error ...(a lot of numbers). Module not found. I allready tried to reinstall it, but it´s still the same ***t. But I was thinking about building a space marine flame thrower guy. I wanted to create a special model for a space marine and give him the the animation of the flame thrower of the Space Orc. But now I don´t know how to find these animations and how to give them to another unit. |

Yeah, ehh... that's coz I read the dir from the regestry, BUT I forgot the verify that info :o Either open up regedit: Go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Warcraft III\InstallPath" And correct the path Or copy war3.mpq to the origional dir (if you don't wanna regedit and have space to spare) (It'll be solved in the next bug-fix) Greetz, DJBnJack |

Guest | in reply to your question=> its attached as particle to the marine in model itself. I tried it too but it failed (copying article to other one) as I dont know where i should put the particle effect originate. Still testing with this. If you dont know mdx or mdl or particle effect changing you shouldnt bother with it for now =) |
