Zepir's Editor Problem

Out of a sudden Zepir's editor won't work any more. It worked normally all the time before, but now I cannot open files that have been touched with the standard WorldEditor any more; when I try it says:

ERROR: Unknown war3map.w3e file version (-730968682) or bad header!

as well as:

ERROR: Unknow war3map.w3i file version (329021442) or bad header!

and then a Runtime Error which leads to an abnormal program termination.

AFAIR I never had a problem like that before. I can still create maps with Zepir's, but when I save them with standard WE i cannot open them any more. Any ideas?

Are you using TFT map editor?

No I'm just using standard Warcraft World Edit.
The weirdest thing is that I searched my HD for those 2 files that are told me to be corrupted and I don't have any files with these names (war3map.w3e and war3map.w3i) so now I'm totally confused emote_sweat

Those files are files for the maps in the mpq's. That error means that for whatever reason, either one of the files for Zepir's map editor got whacked or the version number for the map changed (?).

Try to reinstall the map editor, but it really sounds like what I would expect from trying to open non-retail maps.

i always had problems with zepirs editor. that editor has so many errors in it i dont even use it anymore.

i cannot edit maps in zepirs editor then in the original editor and vice versa. it just wont open due to errors.

Try to reinstall it: Delete every file and folder in the folder where you installed it (make sure to backup files you may need) and re-extract it from the downloaded archive.

copy the storm.dll in your wc3 installation dir and paste it into zepedit's directory
