@ FatUglyNakedGuy Just download it into your Maps folder in the Warcraft III directory. As for the cinematic, I found the camera work and the dialog (the English was good mostly) nothing short of excellent. There's just two things that truly bother me: A) The Warden person has the EXACT same spells as a Demon Hunter, and because of her voice set (PotM), she makes references to a tiger, and the tiger will make a sound sometimes in the voice set. I'd recommend that you change it to...uh...um... Well, I'm at a loss there. Maybe, Sentry? B) In a word: Satyrs??? Satyrs=Goatmen. Goatmen=Not capable of taking over the Night Elves. Since you got the Warden into the classic version of Warcraft III, I'd imagine you'd be able to pull off making Satyrs a cool new race of orcs, or maybe make them a revolutionary band of Night Elves... I just have to say no to Satyrs. Hope those... positive comments help! |

Exalted-one A) The Warden has the same spells because it is not finished and because BETA spells do not work in normal maps. It will have the right sounds and everything once TFT comes out. This is part of a campaign i am working on that will come out after TFT and B) quote from the warcraft 3 maunual "Satyrs were once night elves who parctised magical arts in the days begore the War of the Ancients. These magically corrupted night elves, having given themselves over to the will of the Legion, became terribly cursed. Though they retained a portion of their magical power, the bodies were warped and twisted into those of beasts. Now the satyrs exist only to harry their hated night elf cousins and obey the will of the Legion - which they believe will one day return." I copied that from the manual, so they sort of are a revolutionary band of NE. My campaign is set a year after the deaht of the World Tree, so the orcs aren't enemies to the NE anyomre. My cin is not finished, i still need to do much more (not so much on the cin, but on the playable part.) on the map, so don't hassle me yet. Thanx for the comments. :) |

To view the map, click on the attachment and click 'save'. Save it into your maps directory in your warcraft folder. Open Warcraft III and select the map (its called 'Nightelf Campaign - Intro Cinematic' or something like that.) and start it. |

Strange, works for me. You need to view it in Warcraft, not open it then go 'test map'. Try Rightclicking on it, then save target as, then save it to your maps directory. that should work |

okay.. the right clicking worked.. and it overall is pretty decent.. but a bit too easy... Tips for cinematic: 1. time the dialogue better... the text goes way too fast... 2. add different textures and doodads to the terrain. not all of the ground should be pure grass.. put in a couple vines, or lumpy grass or something... it makes it look better 3. add some music to it.. or just choose a better song choice... (the songs given to you in WE arent all that appealing..) Tips for mission: 1. you can make it harder that what it was... i found it to be quite easy.. 2. you can add a second char.. or even a side kick to make things more interesting Overall: it was pretty good.. although im not thrilled about it... 3/5 |

1) I'll make the text slower then 2) I did! I'll add more though 3) Got any ideas for foresty music? 4)I said rate me on the cinematic, not the mission, that is far from finished 5) You get more units in the next level THIS IS A CAMPAIGN |

Guest | A qeustion, are you going to have voice actors?, because at the beginning they spoke a bit but when they were talking it was without sound. I think you should either get voice actors or remove the words said at the beginning cuz it didn't really fit in. otherwise the cinematic was pritty good 8,5/10 ~CF~ |

This is for a campaign, so there will be voices, i only managed to get the ones at the start out of the sound editor. It will feature new voices and everything. But that comes last. |

Hmm the download worked perfectly for me. The movie was really bad if you ask me, i fond a bug or two and some spelling errors. The worst thing was the story. The elf trains and suddenly you see a satyr attack and then furion runs away to ask the orc for help?! One satyr?! And how can he now that the Satyrs is dangerous?! It really sucked sorry to say. |
