Can I change AoE, and other spell sso that they affect trees if they are hit by them? (i.e. thunder clap, I want to knock down trees close to a thunderclap) Can just adding trees to the targets allowed in the .slk work? |

*swallows his words* OK, I made a test map with an editted ThunderClap, called "Slaughter Trees". At first i added "tree" to be in the target field, and it didn't work. Then i went back and added everything that didn't conflict to be in the target and it still doesn't work. I made the thing do like 500 damage and have 1000 AoE with a 1 mana cost and 1 second cooldown. I have concluded (after casting it like 10 times next to some trees) that either it can't be done without triggers, or that redscull's editor doesn't work for this for some reason. I doubt it's the second. Someone else try and see if you get the same thing. However, this is doable rather easily with triggers, isn't it? |

True that for some spells it will be easy to do with triggers... but I want more than just thunderclap, I have a spell based off Carrion Swarm that I want to do it too, any idea how to do that one with triggers? |

detect when thunderclap is used, create a region on the fly and pick all destructable doodads in that region that are trees and kill them. should do what you want (or if you dont wanan create a region on the fly, make a region and cetner it on the hero when the spell is used |
