control by buttons

how would I control a unit by using the arrows on the keyboard. and please dont flame a noob(me) for not knowing this. thank you.

It's ok to ask questions. One way most people use is the "shop method" They create a shop with foru items having hotkeys of "a,s,d,w" <--- See how that makes arrow keys kinda.

I've attached a map that uses the arrow keys (I think it does anyways :D )

Note - The map is protected so you may need to open it with the blink editor or something like that if you have on e of those old editors. Not sure if you can see the triggers in it though.

the reason I said that was because Utsanomiko was always posting to my threads and constantly flaming me.

could you tell me how to get the items to have the hotkeys that make the unit move. and +, i havnt mastered variables

Well, in the Unit Editor part of world edit, you can look at which items have the hotkeys you want. It is one of the field that you can change.

If I were you, I'd practice up on simple things and gradually get into more complex stuff.

Try this map. I got it from the download section. I have not tryed it so i am not sure if it will work. Here you go.

im not a total noob. I am actually pretty good. i only dont know 10 things(beside modeling/skinning)

i know way more than the basics. i just am not good at terrain, so I never get a chance to show off my skills

howd you get the map from the download section. on mine, it says there are no map under that section....

Go to advance spells and tools its on the bottom of the first page.
