Big Cliffs

One thing that's kind of irritating regarding my current project... The tallest cliff you can have sheer is two high, then there's an unavoidable little step until the next two up/down. I want a SHEER DROPOFF CLIFF, like 10 height. Is there any way to do this, or do I have to wait for a later advanced editor?

Sorry to break it to yeh, but...I'd have to say...how about...no. The terrain is auto-whatchamacallited in little steps... :/

But see, this is exactly what I want to be fixed- I want it NOT to auto terrace. :)

Something related to this...for the cave doodads, I can't get them to fit on any cliff I make....they're all too short.

I believe that there is a SLK that contains terrain data. I think it might help, not to auto-terrace the cliff.

There is a way to make high cliffs but not using the WE though.
You can't have a cliff higher than 2 layers because of the Warcraft 3 engine.
But you can change ground height. The problem with the World Editor is that it doesn't allow you to have a big height difference between two "tile points" on the map. With my Map Editor you can set big height difference (the ground will not look really good but it can look not too bad neither...).
The only problem you got right now is that my new editor (beta 7) is not available yet but it will be soon. Beta 5 works but doesn't fully support the retail.
I hope I'll be able to release it before the end of this month...

Im wondering=>having a clifftype.slk change max cliff to 10 instead of 2 and then use in WE =)

If the thing zepir is saying is correct, the changes could be mainttained without the damn slk implentation

Note=seems like blizz removed the lines out of the beta
