This is a cinematic I am working on called the Matrix Arena; it was more or less inspired by the first part of InsaniteusCinematics, so I won't clam originality on that, but I'm having a few problems, I usually am pretty good at level design but I really don't know what doodads to put in this map, any suggestions? Also two of my triggers don't seem to work, one is a trigger designed to kill all the trees in one region and the other is a crowd that is supposed to be playing its victory animations, does anyone know why these don't work for me? By the way the main reason I made this map was to learn how to use SFX and along the way I found out a few other cool things to 8) by the way my music quality is a little low, it wont be like that when I finish it (Hopefuly finish it) Feel free to give any general comments I deleted this attachment download the new one! |

Really awesome animation. :D For doodads, try using the cityscape set. I would suggest adding some around the town hall and in the arena. A banner would look nice right underneath the clock. Also try out different skies if you havent already done this. I thought that the Lordaeron Summer sky looked pretty cool. |

Thanks, I'm going for a darker mood but I will try differnt skys, I'm thinking of puting a custion sky in that is filled with stars but I have not tryed it yet, I realy do need to add more doodads around that townhall though... |

umm.. try adding textures to it.. it would really improve the scenery...like a path that leds up to the castle.. its not just a castle in the middle of no where is it? (if it is.. make it gloomier...) you said you wanted a darker mood.. well try adding a fog.. always helps man in the arena.. do you want it to be some surreal weird dimension? or just a standard arena? MY personal opinion is that the fire doesnt fit in a standard arena.. but if you want it to be in a weird place... add more fire and lightning.... pretty good tho.. cant wait for the finished product.. |

Ahhh... I'm begining to see it... a plan is forming in my mind... Yes I do think I need to make the Town hall gloomyer and creepier, I will also kill the trees, I was already planning to add lightning to the arena, maybe I will add one random bolt every time the bell tolls (about every four sec) I know how to make a pretty cool lighning effect, yesss that will be just the thing... |

Guest | Well... It looks better but "you still have a lot of work to be done" I can think of one thing now and that is... when you show both of them just facing eachother it'd b cool if u had them like look to there left and right over like 3-5 seconds try it out, might be cool... i gtg now |

Thanks Mr.Jig good idea, I think I'll go with it, maybe, the reason it still has lots of work is bucues I only added those doodads by the way Jig check your PMs I sent you one about a Dubble Post... |

A little update here, I have added lightning to the arena and fire raining down, however it is not tweeked to my view of perfection yet and I will not post any update maps untell I get to that point |

Way to make use of the camera! And for the crowd animation did you try Pick Every Unit in Region X and do Action: Queu Unit Animation for Picked Units? dunno why that wouldnt work:D |
