AbilityData.slk

Recently I posted about a problem that I had mentioning that I did not have Microsoft Excell which is important for editing AbilityData.slk file. LunarCrisis recommended that I download Open Office as a surrogate... I did download it but there is a problem ( what a surprise )... I save the slk file after editing it with Open Office no problems but when I add it to my map file all of the abilities don't work.... No skills may be used GRR! Why is this? Ugh my suffering is eternal. :reallyang

I use notepad.......it really not THAT complicated if you know what you want to do.

Oh, and it actually works everytime for me. :D

I've used notepad also... After seeing it opened in OpenOffice it's hard to go back to notepad :infth:

OpenOffice just plain doesn't work.

It bloats the slk when you save iy

Get redscull's spell editor it's so good :)

Call me blind but I could not find the " Redscull Spell Editor " anywhere in the download section under ' Tools. '

Anyways, did u close abilitydata.slk sheet before starting WE? And did u set a name for the ability in raceabilityfunc.txt?
