Is there a way to make invulnerable buildings town hall like, such that units can TP to them? |

Guest | why not ? invulnerability is very easy to give and if your building is a true town hall i don't see the problem. Just derive the unit from a town hall and add ivulnerable to unit abilities field |

I just realised that the building I created a custom town hall from wasn't based off an original town hall building....silly me... |

I've based the building on a Tree of Life now, but the heroes still cannot Town Portal to it. The invulnerable status seem to off set the fact that it's a town hall. Any way? |

Guest | Do you checked the "TownHall" option in the "unit's classification" field ? |

TownHall, mechanical It's there. I have another custom town hall which is not invulnerable and TP works on that one. So I reckoned it's the invulnerable status of the building. Anyway around this? Thanks |

What's the error message when you try to teleport to it? Does it say "Target is invulnerable" or that it's not a town hall? If it's because it says it's invulnerable you need to edit the town portal spell's targets to include invulnerable. That should work. If that's not the problem I don't know what is... |

you could of course give the TH, say, 100000hp and 100000 hit point regen, that way its efectivly invulnerable....... |

BBDino, I was about to suggest that, give it divine armor with lots of hp and a high armor number and very high hp regen. That is if it only won't work with the invulnerable ability. |

It says that I must target friendly town halls, which means that it doesn't recognise it as a town hall. Yeah I could do that, making it's armour divine w a high regen, but I was wanting it to be untargetable. Is it possible that since it's invulnerable it becomes neutral? Will forcing the player to treat neutral as friendly help? |

You could try. |

Guest | umm dotn' yell at me but did you forget to make it under the players control? |

At the start of the map, there's a trigger which creates the building for the player. Well, I've tried forcing it to treat neutral passive as an ally (I can't do that for neutral hostile due to the creeps) and it still does not work. I've resorted to putting it's armour as divine, it's hp 150000 while it's hp regen 100. It works as an invulnerable structure that can be target but not harmed. Well I have to sacrifise something I supposed. But thanks for helping :gsmile: |

You CANNOT teleport to a town hall if it is invulnerable... I've had this problem before.... In fact, I've probably had every problem you can think of. :knife: |

Thanks, that confirms it. ;) |
