Your own hero abilitys...

Im a noob and i wonder how i can make my own skills for my heroes? for example: blizzard does healing instead of dmg, etc.
How can i do this? Can i do that in map editor? Can somebody help a noob plz emote_confused

If you want blizzard that heals use Tranquility....

:guns:

i assume you have the needed files.

open abilitydata.slk and find blizzard. copy it to the bottom change the alias and uberalias (must be the same). find where it does damage and turn it to a NEGATIVE number. do this for the other levels

open humanabilityfunc.txt and find blizzard. copy to the bottom. change anything you feel like (to change the "ice shards" you must change blizzard)

open humanabilitiystrings.txt copy blizzard to bottom change the name, tip, and all that.

put the files into the warcraft 3 directory in the directory units (make it if it is not there).

open your map give it tosomeone. save.

open MPQ program put abilitydata.slk, humanabilityfunc.txt, humanabilitiystrings.txt, into your MAP, under Units\.

rrun in game and be amazed

hmmm ability data confuses me :( I found blizzard, but i can only se signs like: C;X18;K900
C;X19;K"-"
C;X20;K1
C;X21;K"-"

and stuffs like that. I cant find where i should change .

did you open it with excel?
also make sure it is AbilitiyData.slk under the units directory.
if it still doesn't work send me the file
